The Northern branch situated in Phalaborwa, Limpopo Province RSA, has been in operation since the early 2000’s supporting Palabora Mining Company Ltd. (then owned by Rio Tinto) with the start-up of their Block Cave mine after going Underground from the Open Pit operations. MacLean supported the secondary breaking fleet required by PMC to ensure their draw points are treated timeously. Since then, MacLean has sold, supported, and rebuilt various Drill & Blast, explosives charging and utility vehicles during the Lift I, decline and Lift II development operations as a premier supplier South African mining industry. In 2009, MacLean set up a second branch closer to Johannesburg to support the Gold Production Mines in the surrounding areas as well as to assist supply chain for the diamond mines in the Northern Cape Province.

The prompt service from the RSA team backed by a strong genuine parts support, and presence of field service technicians available on site differentiates us and has allowed MacLean to become a trusted supplier to South Africa’s mines and global mobile equipment industry.

The MacLean branch in Wangara, Western Australia has been actively providing sales, service, and support solutions to mining customers in the Australian & Asia Pacific Regions since 2010. As a premier source for mining equipment in Australia, the MacLean facility is equipped with a parts warehouse, a service workshop with several workstations set up for component repairs, and a designated section for boom repairs. It also houses exclusive bays for full rebuilds and equipment modifications where equipment audits, teardowns, and testing are performed. The facility also has capabilities to upgrade or modify new equipment before delivering it to mine sites. A recent addition to the MacLean support infrastructure in Australia is the investment in an East Coast branch in Orange, New South Wales, which allows the company to offer prompt service to its customer base in that part of the Australian mining sector.

Furthermore, we have already started supporting expansion efforts in Brisbane and will soon have resources aligned there in the New Year.
