POSITION TITLE: Custodian
SHIFT: Day Shift, Monday to Friday, 7:00a.m. to 3:30p.m.
LOCATION: Collingwood, Ontario
MacLean Engineering is looking for a skilled and experienced Custodian to join our growing facilities team in Collingwood, Ontario. If you are looking to be challenged, valued, and rewarded with a competitive compensation package in a dynamic work environment, this position is for you!
About the Position: The Custodian is responsible for a mixture of routine duties and project work as assigned between two facilities, scheduled by the Facilities Maintenance Supervisor/Plant Manager. The following proficiencies are required:
- Lawn/yard maintenance, snow removal and salting icy areas
- General plant and office custodial duties:
- Sweeping/mopping floors
- Cleaning railings, windows, machines, etc.
- Cleaning washrooms/locker rooms
- Disinfecting cafeteria area
- Empty garbage and recycling bins
- Project work may include;
- Painting
- Repairing
- Running errands
- Assisting peers with general handyman work
About You: The successful candidate(s) must be willing to learn, open-minded and flexible, organized and detail oriented, team oriented, disciplined, and must have a positive attitude, along with the following qualifications:
- One (1) + years’ previous industrial cleaning experience
- High School Diploma or Certificate of Completion required
