Job Description:

The Warehouse Supervisor oversees the operation of the warehouse as well as its team. He/she complies with procedures in place as well as warehouse health and safety standards. Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Plan and prioritize shipping, receiving and sorting activities;
  • Lead the team in implementing shipping/receiving policies and procedures.
  • Monitor, measure and track the accuracy of receipts and shipments each day;
  • Carry out activities related to human resources management, including performance management, monitoring of corrective (disciplinary) measures, monitoring the work attendance of team members, etc. ;
  •  As necessary, develop, document, communicate and maintain departmental processes, policies and procedures and ensure that employees under his supervision comply with company policies and practices;
  •  Ensure accurate reporting of cycle counts, inventory adjustments, on-time shipment of spare parts, MRO supplies, shipping and receiving records, identification of obsolete parts;
  •  Promote and participate in continuous improvement activities;
  •  Work closely with cross-functional groups (engineering, production, quality) to achieve company and departmental objectives;
  •  Any other related task.

About You: 

The successful candidate must be recognized for their attention to detail and integrity.

  • Must have a degree in an appropriate field of specialization, particularly in administration, or work experience deemed relevant;
  •  Having experience in personnel management is a very interesting asset;
  •  Must be recognized for his leadership and proactivity;
  •  Must have good computer skills;
  •  Must be able to lift weights up to 40 lbs;
  •  Knowledge of the English language is an asset.
